Schedule of Classes - April

Adult Beginning Knitting:

Saturday April 14^th, 21^st and 28^th 10:30 to 12:30

Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn-over and bind off while creating a washcloth in this three session class. The class will also cover the importance of gauge, needle size, reading a label and the difference in weights of yarn.

Skill Level: Excited and Eager to learn

Materials needed” Size 8 needles and one skein worsted weight yarn.

First Sock:

Tuesday April 10^th, 17^th 5:30 to 7:30

Learn what all the excitement is about knitting your own socks! Using double point needles Chauntel will teach you the basic sock. Pattern is included.

Skill: Know the long tail cast on, knit and purl.

Homework: Follow the pattern for making the leg of the sock.

Materials: Sport or worsted weight yarn with needles that match gauge.
